Green Goddess Dressing (Vegan) Recipe2013-05-10
- 2 Tbs tahini
- 1 Tbs sunflower seeds
- 1 cup mixed herbs (I used combo of garlic chives, shiso and basil)
- 2 Tbs ripe avocado
- 2 Tbs fresh lemon juice
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 Tbs olive oil
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp agave syrup
Blend everything until very, very creamy. Add additional water if you want a thinner sauce.
Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
It’s light, yet smooth and creamy, and it has a great kick to it thanks to the lemon and apple cider. The fresh herbs give it a fresh and cleansing feel. Enjoy it over salads, vegetables, grains, pasta, as a dip for crackers, etc. Have fun changing up the fresh herbs in this recipe too. Next time I’m going to try fresh dill. Mmm. Goddess.
